Daria Dolan

Hi there! My name is Daria Dolan and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Houston, TX. I earned my Masters in Education from the University of St. Thomas and my Bachelors in Psychology with a Minor in Women’s Studies. I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of different backgrounds with their own unique set of challenges and goals. I began my career working with children and adolescents on the Autism spectrum and am currently serving adults with dual-diagnosis and addiction issues. My therapeutic approach utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which recognizes the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. This approach is evidence-based and can be beneficial in treating a myriad of issues. My ultimate goal is to provide support and feedback for my clients and create a safe place to explore thoughts and feelings. I believe that the most important part of therapy is to establish and maintain rapport. I look forward to getting to know my clients and supporting them with kindness, honesty, and a little bit of humor. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy and my aim is to promote self-awareness and self-esteem by creating goals that build upon existing strengths and personal interests.
