Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Debbie Walker. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in state of Georgia. I have 22 plus years of experience as a therapist and 20 years as a certified job and career transition coach (JCTC). I have worked with a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, relationships issues, substance abuse, career challenges, and intimate partner violence. I use an integrative therapy approach to treatment which allows me to use different techniques from different therapeutic orientation such as solution-focused brief therapy, strengths-based, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems. As an integrative therapist, I am able to adapt my counseling orientation and techniques to meet the needs and goals each of my clients. If you need help in the areas of changing the way you think, exploring your resistance to change in regard to motivation, and/or reaching your full potential, I am here to assist you on this journey.
