I am licensed in New Jersey with 18 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, intimacy related issues, & depression in addition to anxiety, non-suicidal self-harm behaviors, teen issues, peer pressure, self-esteem, parent/child relational problems, anger and stress management, group psychotherapy, LGTBQA , mood disorders, and crisis intervention. I have practiced in a variety of treatment settings that include, partial hospitalization, inpatient, intensive outpatient, outpatient, ER and school based. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt, Solution Focused, and Psycho-education for adolescents and adults. I believe a holistic and compassionate approach is utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how mind, spirit and body are interconnected. My theory is that when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace negative thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change. Learning is the discovery that something is possible. We are greater than the sum of our parts. Lastly, I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
