Diana Hernandez

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California. I have 6 years experience in the mental health field. I graduated with my masters in social work from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2014 with a specialty in community mental health, and I have a B.A. in Sociology and Chicano Studies from University of California, Santa Barbara. I have experience in CBT, trauma informed care, and motivational interviewing. I have worked in multiple settings including inpatient care, community mental health agencies, and school settings. I am a caring, compassionate therapist, who enjoys helping others meet their goals and reach their highest potential. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space, that welcomes people of all diverse backgrounds. I like to work from a person centered approach, using empathy, unconditional positive regard and genuineness in treatment. My hope is to assist you in finding solutions to your problems while providing support and empowerment that will lead to lasting changes.
