I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of professional experience working with adults and families. I have had the privilege to work with many resilient adults, and families as they overcome adversity, manage life stressors, and reach their full potential and goals. Helping people in their journey of life is a “calling.” My life journey and experience lead me to help others as a clinician. I treat each individual uniquely and believe everyone has the ability to achieve their goals and live a happy and productive life. There is no one size fits all for therapy! I believe in tailoring sessions to address your expectations and goals in a approach and style of your preference. A few examples of my therapy approaches are; are Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused and Task Centered/ Problem Solving. Although I prefer video sessions to allow for a more in depth connection phone, and chat sessions are fine. My focus and specialties include; chronic stress, depression, anxiety, burn out, compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, relationship stressors, adult ADHD, self esteem and confidence, self care and wellness, divorce/separation, career/workplace stressors, dependent personality disorder, intimate partner violence, loss/grief, adopted adults and birth family reunions, and overall life events/changes and adversities. After the expectations and goals for therapy are identified we develop a treatment plan or goal plan that you are comfortable with. I believe that you are the expert of your life journey! You posses strengths that will support you in overcoming your adversities, and challenges. Taking the step to begin therapy involves self reflection, and courage.
