Eleanor Stith-Merrill

Trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief can feel like an unbearable weight on your shoulders. My past experience and education allow me to work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples who are dealing with life challenges. I have specialty training in trauma, such as sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, combat related trauma, and complex trauma. Everyone has the capacity for growth and healing and whether it requires working through the past, being mindful of the present or preparing for the future, you are capable of creating the life you desire. I am a client centered therapist who utilizes evidenced based, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness approaches in order to engage one’s body, mind, and spirit for an integrated approach to wellness. I am empathetic, genuine, and direct and I build rapport quickly, allowing efficient and effective goal attainment in therapy.
