Elvia Avitia is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas with eight years of experience in the field. Specializing in a variety of issues, Elvia is trained in EMDR therapy and is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. She understands the challenges individuals face when trying to find peace and regain control of their lives. Elvia offers support and guidance throughout this journey, addressing concerns such as depression, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, adjustment, and low self-esteem. With a broad-based modality approach, she tailors her methods to meet the unique needs of her clients. Elvia has a particular interest in working with women experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and has undergone specialized training through Postpartum Support International.
