About Elyse Yarmosky's service

Hi! My clinical approach mixes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with other cognitive-behavioral therapies (like Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-based Therapy) and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I especially love working with LGBTQ+ folks, young adults, college students, people dealing with self-harm and suicidality, and people who are down with self-reflection! My approach is warm, relationship-centered, non-judgmental, and relaxed. I invite clients to show up exactly as they are each day, and believe that the work of therapy exists in a healthy dynamic between therapist and client. I am intensively trained in DBT through Behavioral Tech in Seattle, WA. I have years of experience working with adolescents, families, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidality, substance use, bipolar disorder, and psychosis. I look forward to meeting you!
