I’m a licensed clinical therapist with over 12 years of professional experience in a number of psychiatric emergency rooms, forensic and clinical mental health settings. My experience consists of identifying disorders, resolving symptoms, mitigating risk factors, and crisis management. I am active in providing individual and group therapy to a challenging forensic population; assisting clients in making sense of why they experience certain conditions and symptoms. I particularly specialize in providing PTSD treatment to reduce or resolve symptoms, providing cutting-edge substance use disorder treatment and psycho-education, treatment for Anger Management, Depression, and Anxiety. My goal in working with clients is to offer a safe, nonjudgemental environment where true support, healing and growth can be optimized for creating the LIFEstyle you desire. My treatment approach is authentic, genuine and reality-based. It takes a positive, motivational approach. My preferred and most often used treatment modalities are CBT, i.e., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CPT, i.e, Cognitive Processing Therapy and DBT, i.e., Dialectal Behavioral Therapy.
