Evelyn Alaniz is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 5 years of experience practicing in South Texas. She has a diverse background in mental health counseling, having worked with individuals dealing with Eating Disorders, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, as well as teen and relationship issues. Currently, Evelyn works full-time for a school district, providing much-needed mental health services to young individuals who may not have access to therapy otherwise. Known for her warm and client-centered approach, Evelyn believes in treating everyone with kindness, respect, and compassion. She combines various counseling techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive approaches, to tailor the treatment plan to each client’s unique needs. Evelyn understands that taking the first step towards seeking counseling can be challenging, but she is here to support and empower her clients with understanding and compassion. Due to her commitment to the school district, Evelyn’s availability may vary, but she encourages clients to reach out if they have specific scheduling needs, as she will do her best to accommodate them.
