I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of clinical social work experience. I specialize in the following areas: stress and anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, parenting issues, and coping with life changes. I have worked in Romania, Guatemala, India, Utah, and now I call Maryland home. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development from Brigham Young University-Provo and a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work with a mental health emphasis from the University of Utah. My experience abroad combined with my personal life experiences and education have equipped me with the expertise to help you navigate through your personal storms. I believe you have the power and wisdom within you to grow. I offer a nurturing and safe space where healing and learning can take place. I will listen with compassion and genuine interest in understanding what you are saying and where you are coming from. I hope to work with you to build upon your strengths, explore and remove barriers, gain insights, strategies, and skills. I will help you feel empowered to take charge of your journey and create a fulfilling, meaningful life. At the end of our time working together, I want you to leave feeling more at peace and hopeful. My wish for you is that you may feel present, connected, informed, and capable of healing. I primarily utilize a Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach. As needed, I will integrate other theoretical approaches.
