Francis Ayala

Francis Ayala is a specialist therapist who has been working with juveniles on probation for several years. Using a post-modern family structure and solution-focused approach called Multi-systemic therapy, Francis is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of youth and their families. With a background in bilingual education, Francis also brings valuable experience in working with teenagers in the education field. Passionate about the challenging and rewarding nature of this work, Francis addresses substance abuse, behavioral, mental health, and personality issues. Known for an empathetic, multi-cultural, and open-minded counseling style, Francis continually updates their knowledge through online training in diverse issues. In the past year alone, Francis has completed continuing education hours in areas such as loss and behavior, attachment among children and youth in foster care, trauma reminders, the uniqueness of LGBTQ+ needs, and self-harm among youth in foster care. Francis looks forward to meeting individuals and families, and building a strong therapeutic alliance.
