I have had the opportunity to work with diverse populations in the mental health field. I am passionate about taking on the journey with people to assist them with identifying the interconnections of different parts of their lives. Once the relations are known, then it is easier to understand the way each part affects another. My educational background has equipped me with the skills needed to assist people, address their needs, and meet them where they are. Since everyone is different and no specific modality can fit everyone, I work from a collaborative, strength-based approach, using modalities such as CBT, mindfulness therapy, reality therapy, and positive psychology. I encourage people to pursue a holistic approach to health, which incorporates exercise, sleep, nutrition, relationships, spiritual practices, and hobbies.
