I am a licensed psychotherapist in Illinois with over seven years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I utilize a client centered approach to develop trust and rapport with clients along with an integrative approach that includes narrative therapy, CBT and mindfulness based on the presenting issues of the client. I have experience working with adults, adolescents and children struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, self-harm, relationship issues, bereavement and loss, key life transitions and challenging medical diagnoses. My bicultural background is also an asset in my work with clients. My therapy style is open, transparent, and interactive. Strengths include empathy, compassion, a strong grounding in client-centered counseling, a holistic approach to emotional and psychological healing and well-being, sensitivity to diversity and multiculturalism.
