Hello! My professional background is multifaceted. I am a Registered Nurse, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Certified Addiction Professional. I am self-motivated, personable, and a well-rounded professional with a successful record of accomplishments in Behavioral Health. As a professional, I am known as a client advocate and team player, which I deem essential to be able to establish a collaborative relationship with you. I believe in empowering individuals and couples delivering health education, enhancing wellness, and quality of life. My approach is client-centered providing a comfortable, safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment. I can assure you that you are going to be treated with dignity and respect. As a bilingual therapist (English Spanish), I have had the opportunity to work with diverse populations and concerns. Some of these include: Substance use and other addictive disorders, Immigration/ Acculturation issues, relationship conflicts, Anxiety, Depression, and adjustment issues among others. I use Motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, and Trauma informed modalities.
