I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in Maryland. I have been a Master’s level Social Worker for 20 years and a Board Certified Psychotherapist for 15 years. During that time I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds with various different issues and concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Combat Fatigue, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Insomnia, Military Issues, Compassion Fatigue, Grief & Loss, Divorce, Relationship Problems, Family Conflict, LGBT issues, Life Transitions, Career Challenges, Work/Life Balance and more. I am open-minded and welcoming to all. No matter what your issue, you will always be treated with compassion and respect. No Judgement, No Shame, Just Help. I use several different evidence based treatment modalities, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, just to name a few. The clinical approach chosen will always be tailored to your specific needs, your history, and your level of comfort. I realize that asking for help is hard for some people. Congratulations on taking this first step toward Wellness. I would be happy to walk with you the rest of the way. Be Well, Hilary
