Hello! My name is Holly and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in New Mexico. I have been in the social work field for about 8 years now and have experience working in school-based, psychiatric in-patient, outpatient clinics, and home-based settings. In this experience, I have primarily worked with those experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, parenting struggles, and issues with life changes/adjustment. In my approach to counseling, I start with where the client is. What are they satisfied or unsatisfied with currently? What does the client want to gain from working with me? Once desired outcomes are established, I utilize a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, narrative, and solution-focused therapies. I also explore and emphasize a clientโs personal strengths in order to promote sustainability. I go into any new therapist/client relationship with the understanding that I am a stranger who may be asking very difficult questions. With this in mind, I encourage clients to take as much time as they need in our work together, moving at whatever pace they find comfortable. At the end of the day, I want this to be a good experience for you! My hope is to help others to find the peace that they are searching for to be able to lead fulfilling lives. I look forward to working with you!
