Ingrid Johnson

Ingrid Johnson is a licensed professional counselor and certified school counselor with 17 years of counseling experience. She offers a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to sort out the details of their lives and provides appropriate resources to empower them. Ingrid has extensive training in stress and anxiety alleviation techniques, and her counseling approach is embedded in person-centered therapy, believing that clients know themselves best. Her role is to help clients achieve successful outcomes and work towards positive resolutions. She also incorporates cognitive behavior therapy to guide clients in reducing stress and focusing on day-to-day challenges, thoughts, and behaviors. Ingrid looks forward to helping clients uncover the tools they already possess to improve and manage their lives. She responds to messages during the evening hours, although on rare occasions it may take longer due to attending to other clients and professional/personal responsibilities. She appreciates your patience and views the therapy relationship as a partnership. Ingrid believes that everyone deserves to have the life they envision and is committed to assisting clients on their healing journey. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging and walking her dog. Ingrid is married and has two daughters.
