Irina Adams

Irina Adams is a licensed therapist with over six years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families seeking counseling. Her services include individual and couples’ therapy, pre-marital counseling, assertiveness, and career coaching. Irina specializes in treating conditions resulting from a wide range of traumatic experiences, including combat stress, sexual assault, developmental trauma, childhood abuse, domestic/family/community violence, and grief. She is skilled in addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma-related disorders, grief/loss, parental skills, relationship improvement, veteran and women’s issues. Irina’s treatment style is rooted in psychodynamic and client-centered approaches, focusing on building trust and authentic rapport, and addressing her clients’ unique concerns. As an experienced US Air Force clinician and veteran, Irina is keenly attuned to the unique needs of military members, first responders, and their families. She is knowledgeable about combat stress, burnout, compassion fatigue, survivor guilt, and family reintegration.
