Dr. Jacqueline Julien

Dr. Jacqueline Julien is a licensed psychologist with 12 years of experience in various settings, including inpatient treatment, juvenile detention centers, and community mental health centers. She believes in a collaborative approach to counseling, recognizing that clients know themselves best. With a touch of humor and a Star Wars reference, Dr. Julien works with individuals facing difficult life changes, struggling to become their authentic selves, dealing with depression or anxiety, and navigating the challenges of parenting. In addition to her counseling work, she has also taught university psychology courses. Dr. Julien utilizes an eclectic counseling style, tailored to each individual’s needs, emphasizing active problem-solving, goal-setting, and exploring the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. While the path to personal growth may vary, she firmly believes that everyone has the desire to live their best life and strives to help clients achieve that.
