Jamal Raheem

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) with over 7 years of clinical experience as an LCSW-C and 12 years of experience working in the field of social work, I have served a diverse group of persons dealing with a variety of behavioral health related issues. Outpatient mental health, therapeutic foster care, psychiatric hospital, and the public school system are where I have spent the majority of my career working with clients. I have worked with children of all ages to older adults on issues such as feeling overwhelmed, relationship problems, video game addiction, and psychosis. Much of my experience thus far has been in working with those faced with anxiety, behavioral issues, substance abuse problems, ADHD symptoms, and depression. Families I’ve worked with have expressed appreciation for my honesty, consistency, open-mindedness, goal-oriented, and empathetic approach to helping them towards recovery. I believe in the potential of all persons, no matter where their journey has taken them thus far, and I see my role as being a support in helping my families reach their next step.
