About James Dinh's service

Hello! I’m James “JD” Dinh, (They/Them pronouns) and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. I have worked with adults of all ages spanning a wide range of concerns but have particular interest in working with trauma, as well as gender, sexuality, and identity. I’m openly queer, non-binary, polyamorous, and a person of color (Vietnamese). I’ve helped many clients address issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, exploring identity and living your most authentic life. My counseling style integrates a few different approaches and is customized to the needs and personality of my clients which often evolve over the course of counseling. I will give you space to process and explore safely while identifying specific strategies to start moving towards your goals and living in line with your personal values. For trauma-related concerns, many of my clients choose EMDR which is an evidence-based approach for addressing and releasing trauma so you can reclaim your life. Wherever you are on your journey, I will be with you to explore and support your growth.
