Dr. James Reed

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado and I have been practicing for the past 16 years as a counselor. I have a great deal of experience with clients with various concerns including depression, anxiety, panic disorders, relationship difficulties and addictions. My approach to counseling is predominantly cognitive-behavioral, though I am passionate about existential and humanistic approaches to counseling and have a great deal of experience in addressing clients with existential concerns. Because of my alignment with humanistic approaches to counseling, I value an engaging and genuine interaction with my clients. As a veteran of the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Iraq war, I am uniquely suited to the concerns of other veterans and have experience in counseling veterans, first responders and their families. As a Licensed Addiction Counselor, I have many years of experience in working with clients in recovery from substance addiction and other addictive behaviors.
