Jane Busch

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and an Internationally Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with 25 years of diverse experience in the clinical field. I have had the opportunity to provide help to people when life appears overwhelming or difficult. My age ranges include 5 to 95 years old, and everything in between. This includes teenagers. Some of the areas of concern that I have worked with include anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship issues (couples and family), trauma recovery, PTSD, divorce recovery, career stress, bi-polar disorder, anger management, adjustment issues, and personal growth. My counseling style is much like my personality. I have small town values with worldly views. I am a very supportive, encouraging, and compassionate person, yet direct and insightful. I get to know each person individually and use a combination of their strengths and what motivates them to implement change and resolution. I believe everyone has the ability for change, and my role as your therapist is to provide guidance, support, insight, and knowledge by utilizing my expertise of therapeutic interventions. Some of my most effective therapeutic interventions include motivational, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, humanistic, realistic, rational-emotive, play, and psychotherapy. My interventions are goal directed and the final outcome is resolution. It takes courage to make that first step of seeking professional help .
