Janet Yo

Janet Yo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with individual and families. Janet received her Bachelor in Social Work from Michigan State University and her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan specializing in geriatrics and the aging population. Janet has worked in the medical setting, with HIV/AIDS, and most extensively within Hospice Care. Janet works with individuals and families who are in the midst of major life changes or, experiencing loss, or transitions. She specializes in working with grief and loss, anxiety, stress, and relationship issues. Janet works to create a safe place to explore life circumstances, both past and present. She’s a good listener, sensitive and compassionate when working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Have you ever felt overwhelmed, stuck, confused, or lonely?
