Janice Carr

Janice Carr is a highly experienced and licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience in the field. She has a diverse background in the corporate and commercial world, which has greatly contributed to her understanding and ability to address a wide range of life problems, wants, needs, and concerns. Janice is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. She is also a National Certified Counselor and holds certifications in Telehealth, Grief Counseling, and Trauma. Janice earned her master’s degree in counseling from California State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Interpersonal Communication with an emphasis in Psychology. Throughout her career, she has worked with culturally diverse populations, including adults, adolescents, children, and families, in various settings such as military installations, homeless shelters, community mental health centers, private practice, family services, and mental health crisis centers. Janice specializes in addressing relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem, grief, and coping with life changes.
