I am a psychotherapist with 3+ years of experience. I have worked with individuals and their families dealing with a wide range of struggles. I have provided therapy and counseling to clients who battle with depression, anxiety, social phobias, mood disorders, personality disorders, and suicidal ideation. I also have experience with working with individuals dealing with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective, etc. My approach to therapy is acknowledging that we are a team and I am there to provide support and become your biggest cheerleader while clients are on their journey to healthy mental health. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe that every person and their story is different so having multiple therapy interventions at my disposal allows me to approach issues in different ways. I am warm and interactive with my clients providing a safe and comfortable environment. Starting therapy can be intimidating especially with the stigma attached to it. Being committed and taking the first steps to starting your journey for healthier living takes strength.
