Jayshree Gandhi

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor & Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, children and families as well as small and large groups. Working as a therapist both in India as well as here in USA has given me the privilege to work with individuals and families from varied cultures, ethnicities and socio-economic statues. 
 I have provided therapy in outpatient settings, inpatient rehabilitation centers, community mental health and addiction clinics, schools and private practice offices. My approach to counseling is an integration of Eastern and Western philosophies. My orientation to counseling is based on Cognitive- Behavioral and Rogerian Therapy. I am trained in Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing Strategies, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Addictions Counseling, Regression Therapy and Multicultural Counseling. I believe in mind-body-spirit connection and develop a wellness plan with my clients in order to help them to identify their strengths and weaknesses in each of these aspects and work with them to enhance deficient areas.
