Jean Loar

Jean Loar is a licensed clinical social worker with over thirty-four years of experience in the Dallas area. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate through their internal conflicts and find their way back to a better place. Jean has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and a range of individual, family, and marital issues. Throughout her career, she has worked in various settings including hospitals, private practice, corporate Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and crisis intervention. Jean is passionate about working with individuals from young adults to geriatrics, as well as couples and families. She primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and solution-focused therapy to help her clients.
