Who I am: As a Caring and Compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I seek to provide a range of therapeutic services to adults, couples, families and young adults who are experiencing emotional and behavioral conditions such as; depression, anxiety, grief, loss, aging related conditions as well as occupational, social and environmental stress. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work Administration and Community Practice from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. I have worked in the field of Behavioral Health, Case Management and Child Welfare Counseling for over 15 years. I am Relationship Builder: My areas of specialties are in interpersonal relationships, marital, couples and adult trauma. In addition I look forward to supporting those who are facing work-related stress, problematic peer relations and aging issues. I work with professionals, couples, seniors, young adults and families. As a Clinical Therapist, I recognize the need to provide relevant approaches that are specifically designed to meet the needs of clients. I use the therapeutic process to work collaboratively with clients to help them establish and achieve their goals. Services include relationship/marriage counseling, stress management, easy to use practical living skills and tools, clinical counseling (anxiety, depression) and trauma focused therapy. I work with clients to equip and empower them with creative tools and supportive resources to address and reduce the obstacles in their lives. I am eclectic, holistic and versatile in my therapeutic orientation at times utilizing a unique blend of therapeutic approaches such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma & Solution Focused Interventions, Crisis Intervention, Person & Task Centered Models and Strength & Empowerment Based Approaches. In addition, Problem-Solving, Interpersonal and Integrated Therapies are also used. I look forward to working with You.
