Jenessa Englishbee

Jenessa Englishbee is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with over 5 years of experience in the field of mental health counseling. She obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling and Addiction Studies from Waynesburg University in 2016 and has been licensed in Texas for just over 1 year. Currently, Jenessa is pursuing her PhD with a specialization in Trauma and Disaster Response at Northcentral University. With extensive experience in working with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, transition/adjustment, and day-to-day coping, Jenessa has worked with individuals, families, groups, and couples. Her passion for counseling stemmed from a personal experience as a teenager when a counselor changed her life for the better. This inspired her to pursue a career in counseling and help others improve their mental health and overall well-being. Jenessa has a particular interest in working with the LGBTQ population, as she is an advocate for equal rights and believes that everyone deserves love, compassion, support, and understanding regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
