My approach is gentle but direct. I like to form a genuine connection with clients so that we are able to work collaboratively in achieving goals. Many clients I have worked with are struggling to manage issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and self injury. I have training in CBT, DBT, and EMDR and take an eclectic, humanistic approach to best suit each individual’s needs. I graduated with my MSW in 2012 from Adelphi University. Since graduating, the majority of my career has been spent working with individuals in crisis situations. I have also spent a significant amount of time working as a Mental Health Evaluator in the Psychiatric Emergency Department.
