Jennifer Parker is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with over nine years of experience in the helping profession. Beginning her career as an Elementary teacher, Jennifer transitioned into counseling roles at both the Middle School and High School levels, as well as serving as a Social Emotional Counselor for an alternative education program. Currently, she supervises licensed professionals within the same school district. Jennifer’s diverse background has provided her with a unique understanding of how crises, grief, interpersonal conflict, trauma, and family conflict can impact individuals in different ways. When working with clients, Jennifer strives to establish a meaningful connection that is tailored to their specific needs and growth. She employs a client-centered approach, emphasizing unconditional regard for her clients’ well-being. Additionally, Jennifer draws from various therapeutic techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Reality Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Client-Centered therapy, empowering clients to take control of their own journeys. As a professional counselor, Jennifer is committed to providing a safe and ethical space for clients to explore, work through, and grow emotionally.
