Jessica Roman

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California, with over 3 years of experience providing psychotherapy treatment. I have experience working with children, adolescents and their families in community based mental health clinics. I have provided treatment in areas of concern including depression, anxiety, self-esterm, PTSD, adjustment disorder, family conflict and trauma. As a therapist, my goal is to assist my clients in increasing their awareness and understanding of healthy coping skills, and proving support to help my clients achieve their full potential. I received my Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University and my Master’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles. My counseling style is client-centered, with my clients being the experts and agents of change. I provide trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and supportive treatment. I interact with my clients with respect and honesty. My treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and Attachment based. I like to engage my client in dialogue of treatment approach and collaboration in developing treatment goals to meet their specific needs.
