I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York State whose counseling services have centered around helping individuals, couples and family members alleviate depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I have worked with people of all ages, with a special focus on adults and older adults. Other practice concentrations have included Grief Counseling, Life Changes, Self Esteem, Confidence Building and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I have worked with clients with ADHD, OCD, Adjustment Disorders, and Agoraphobia. My approach is flexible and supports clients in defining their own goals. I believe in providing a caring, compassionate, and warm approach to discussions, centered around client needs. I am well versed in several therapeutic techniques that utilize concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Focus, and Strength’s Perspective Therapy. My treatment approach is defined by a client’s identified needs and goals and remains open and nonjudgmental throughout the alliance. Reaching out for support when you are going through a difficult time takes strength and determination. Your courage should be met with respect and great caring. I look forward to working with you!
