Jill Wheeler is a licensed professional counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist with over 13 years of clinical experience in the state of Texas. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, adjustment to life changes, and grief/loss. Jill’s counseling style is warm and approachable, and she believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, without stigmatizing labels. She combines cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, and trauma-focused techniques in her therapeutic approach. Jill is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
