I want to start by acknowledging the courage it takes to reach out for help. This is always a big first step that is not always so easy. I would be honored to provide a safe space where you can be vulnerable while being shown warmth and compassion through your process. I have been in the field for an excess of 20 years. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in depression, anxiety, trauma and grief and loss. I began my college career at the University Of Miami and completed my Bachelors in Education at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. I went on for my Masters in Social work and graduated with my MSW from Barry University in Miami in 2002 with a focus on domestic violence and child abuse. As your therapist I would utilize an integrative approach as I do not believe in a one size fits all style. We are all unique and respond differently to different approaches. Approaches I often utilize include narrative, cognitive behavioral,trauma informed and solution focused. I hope I can be a part in your journey towards healing.
