Jonathan Ybarra is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with over 16 years of professional counseling experience in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, community mental health, and private practice. He has worked with clients of all ages and with a wide range of concerns. Jonathan provides a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore and process their life situations that may be causing discomfort. His goal is to help clients overcome obstacles and improve their quality of life. Jonathan uses an integrated approach to counseling, incorporating various theories and techniques tailored to each client’s specific needs. His overall approaches are based on Client Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapies. Jonathan values confidentiality and may occasionally consult with professional colleagues about his work, but all identities will be disguised. Please note that clients under 18 do not have full confidentiality from their parents. Jonathan does not perform home study evaluations, assist with legal custody issues, work with couples, provide psychiatric diagnoses, or offer Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters or fit for duty evaluations.
