Joshua Evans

Hi, My name is Josh Evans and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a therapist and clinical social worker, I’m uniquely tuned into the effects of systems on my clients (i.e. family, community, relationships, employment, and culture, to name a few). Suffering and pain can take many forms and as a result we can be heavily impacted by such systems. With that said, sometimes our struggles are more straight forward and more of an internal battle and require different approaches and strategies. Professionally, I have many years of experience providing services with families and individuals in the home, community, school, and office settings. In addition, I have 4 years of experience providing telehealth services and I’m quite familiar with navigating potential barriers. As a style of practice, my approach is primarily person centered and one that’s built on being adaptable to who I’m working with. I regularly utilize mindfulness-based approaches and treatment modalities including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Person-Centered Therapy. Everyone is unique and the therapeutic process is an individual pursuit, it’s my job to adapt to you and provide the quality of services you deserve. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
