Juan Medina, a seasoned psychotherapist, understands that finding peace and healing requires grit, hard work, self-compassion, forgiveness, and often complete surrender. With a genuine desire to support individuals on their journey, Juan, also known as “Johnny” Medina, aims to ensure that every session leaves clients feeling heard, appreciated, and understood. With the intention of building trust, Juan, as a man, husband, and stepfather, acknowledges his own struggles and ongoing journey through various aspects of life. While he doesn’t claim to have all the answers, his education and experiences have provided him with perspectives that may be valuable to individuals at their current stage of life. Having served as a former U.S. Marine, mechanic, probation, and correctional officer, Juan has witnessed countless instances of hurt, failure, and success. Now, with over a decade of studies and seven years of practice specializing in trauma-informed care, Juan offers a guiding light on the often dark and discouraging path of life. Recognizing that we are not meant to navigate life alone, Juan is dedicated to reminding individuals of their strength and capability, and he eagerly awaits the opportunity to provide assistance.
