Judith Humble

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 33 years of experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions and life problems. During my long career, I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and life transitions. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. In recent years, I have developed specialty areas in the treatment of shyness and Social Phobia, communication issues, and life transitions for women over 60. As a former Certified Employee Assistance Professional, I maintain a strong interest in helping clients meet workplace challenges and thrive in their chosen careers. My counseling style is warm, interactive, compassionate and respectful. I believe deeply in the right of every person to be treated with dignity, and to have a safe place to share their deepest concerns. I am also a skilled and patient listener. While I use a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, my primary goal is to help every client cultivate his or her strengths and traits of resilience. My goal is for every client to be better prepared for a safe and satisfying life at the end of treatment. I will be sure to understand your personal goals at the outset of treatment, and will work with you to develop a treatment plan to meet your unique needs.
