I am Juliet Robinson, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, whose greatest passion is bringing healing to individuals who have been through traumatic and or stressful experience. As a practicing clinician, together we will find hope, spirituality, wholeness, wellness, freedom and empowerment. My goal is to help my all individual, who include adolescence, adult and families finding a healthy balance life style. Through this we will heal, recover and grow together, as no one should be defined by their past, but rather be refined by who they aspire to become. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with years of experience in the field of addiction and mental illness, I have worked with adolescents and adults In-patient, Outpatient and Residential settings. My servant leadership qualities and discipline of simplicity, meditation and prayer is my mission to assist in your healing, recovering and growth journey. With dedication I will assist you in walking through and around obstacles of life. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual and so my aim is to use evidence-based and or researched based-therapy as tools to build connection to self, others, self-esteem, self-love, self-care, self worth, and healing from the scars of life. This will be done in a safe and empathetic space. Listening is key and feeling unheard is frustrating, and this is why I am committed to providing you with the highest quality of service, as I believe that fostering care and creating therapeutic relationship is the medium through which emotional, psychological and spiritual growth takes place. Human mind is the most powerful entity of the body, thus all living species are built with series of thoughts, just like the thought of putting a puzzle together. Every attempt to match pieces of puzzles together requires clear, accurate and precise thought.. It is said that, “ Lifting your eyes from the things of this world is an activity that must begin where you are.” My focus is resolving trauma and past negative experiences, emotional regulation and emotional wellbeing, enriching interpersonal skills, and establishing positive behavioral modifications. Education My educational background includes MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have a BA in Business and health Service Administration from Keiser University. Both degrees from West Palm Beach, Florida. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (License # MH 18800). I am Board certified TeleMental Health Provider. I am Board certified Addiction professional. I am a trained level 1 & 2 EMDR clinician. Additional Training I am EMDRIA approved trained EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapist. EMDR is a research based-therapy and will be integrated in my clinical therapeutic practice.EMDR is particularly effective in the treatment of victims of accidents and crimes, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, PTSD, loss, performance anxiety and anxiety/panic. It is also becoming an increasingly known techniques for people who struggles with eating disorders, history of cutting issues, as well as substance abuse disorders.
