Thank you for reviewing my information. I have tried to be quite detailed here, so please read to the end before selecting me as your counselor. After working a while in this online medium, I have found it quite important that you (the client), have a very good idea with whom you will be working. My name is Justine Moore. I have many years of experience providing therapy to clients in both the hospital and the outpatient setting. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and licensed in the state of Texas. I have a Bachelorโs degree in psychology earned through the University of Houston and a Masterโs degree in Social Work from the University of Houston โ Graduate College of Social Work. I work with clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, career concerns, LGBTQIA+ issues, and family and relationship issues. My therapeutic style works on the belief that we all have a right to self-determination. In my work with clients, I come from a position of unconditional, positive regard with a varied approach working with clients from a humanistic and strengths-based approach with a solution-focused perspective. My goal is to provide you the support you need to navigate through your specific journey. Together, we can work to find solutions to those stressors you face individually through support, reframing, and mindfulness. I want to provide you a space that makes you feel supported and safe in exploring those aspects of your life that affect your success and enrichment. I welcome feedback throughout the therapeutic relationship. If at any time I am not meeting your needs, please let me know, and we will work together to resolve the challenges. I respond to messages every day, though, times may vary as I may be with a client. If you are ever in a crisis or an emergency, this is not something that should be messaged to me but rather that you seek emergent help immediately. I am not always able to check my messages or respond right away. Emergent health crises are best handled in person through your support system (family and friends), call 911 or local emergency services, visit the nearest emergency room, or call your local suicide hotline as you will have immediate attention. I look forward to our work together!
