Welcome! Congrats on this first step. I hope you realize just how important this moment is and that you have made a major step forward in overcoming whatever it may be that you are having difficulty with right now. My name is Kalyn and I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 7 years experience working in the field. I have worked with individuals with concerns such as anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, parenting issues, as well as many, many others. Over the span of 7 years I have worked with many types of clients, so if I haven’t listed what you are going through right now, that doesn’t mean I haven’t helped a client with it! Please message me if you have any questions or want to know more. My approach is empathetic, non-judgmental, and client-centered. I like to meet clients where they are in their life, at that moment, and work from there. I mainly use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and Client-Centered therapies, but I also pull from other modalities based on clients’ needs.
