Karen Medlock

Karen Medlock is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in the field. She holds two Masters’ Degrees in Social Work and Theology, allowing her to take a holistic approach with her clients. With a background in teaching, Karen has worked with individuals of all ages, from young children to older adults. Her experience as a teacher has been invaluable in building therapeutic relationships with adolescents and teenagers. Karen values diversity and enjoys working with clients from different cultures, races, and sexual orientations. Additionally, she has a deep understanding of addiction treatment, having worked with male adult offenders in a correctional center. This experience has provided her with skills in running groups and providing psycho-social classes on a wide range of topics. Karen has also worked extensively with trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, grief, and loss. She is excited to be a part of Better Help, as it offers a convenient and accessible platform for individuals to seek help through text, phone, or video sessions. Karen is laid-back and adaptable in her approach, meeting clients wherever they are in their life journey. She is dedicated to helping individuals develop their strengths and accompany them on their path of personal growth and exploration.
