Hello, I am a licensed mental health counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor in Florida. I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2011. I began my career as a career counselor and then moved into mental health counseling. I have worked with clients with anxiety, depression, coping with disabilities, trauma, career difficulties, family and marriage conflicts, etc. I have over 8 years’ experience with counseling adults, families and children. I am a Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral and Client Centered Therapist. In my sessions, I provide a safe environment with open communication. I tailor my sessions to my client’s needs. I believe in taking counseling one session at a time. I help my clients develop progress goals, so they can track the progress they have made in the sessions. I take time at the end of every session for the client to take time to reflect on how they have felt the session was. I have utilized various techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, motivational interviewing, behavior modification, etc. I believe in working together with my clients and creating an individualized treatment plan for them. I work with you to help you discover the next steps you need to take to improve yourself. I promote change through personal growth. I cannot wait to work with you.
