Karen Vatthauer

I’ve been a clinician for about 30 years and I have learned the importance of the relationship between clinician and client in counseling success. I have a Masters degree in Counseling and I use different approaches depending on the client. I primarily use mindfulness, client-centered and cognitive therapy, although solution focused therapy is also helpful in many cases. I view counseling as a collaboration between client and clinician and emphasize good communication to achieve my client’s goals. I really enjoy getting to know people and seeing successfully achieve their goals.
