Kate Jennings

Kate Jennings is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. She has worked in the inpatient unit, partial hospitalization program, and intake department of a children’s hospital, as well as in a residential psychiatric home, the juvenile law world, and multiple schools. Currently, Kate focuses on helping patients with primary medical conditions manage their mental health needs at a gastroenterology clinic. She specializes in supporting individuals coping with chronic abdominal pain, stomachaches, and chronic illnesses such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Kate obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in education from the University of Texas at Austin. She further pursued her education at Texas Christian University, where she earned her Masters of Education in Counseling. Kate is passionate about parenting, chronic illnesses, and suicide awareness. Through a combination of therapeutic approaches, she collaborates with clients to make positive changes in their lives and become the best versions of themselves.
