About Kate Ross's service

I am a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker in Michigan with 14 years of clinical experience. I have worked with adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma and borderline personality disorder. I approach therapy with the philosophy that every human being has an inner peace and wisdom that can get buried or pushed aside through the stress of life. We can uncover and strengthen this inner peace and wisdom. I employ a variety of techniques from various evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure, Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model and Mindfulness based therapy. It takes courage and vulnerability to take the first step to building a meaningful and satisfying life. I am here to support and encourage you on this journey.
