Kathryn Robinson

Kathryn Robinson is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in Texas with a wealth of experience in the field. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and an undergraduate degree in psychology. Kathryn has spent six years working at a mental health facility, gaining expertise in crisis intervention, psycho-social rehabilitation, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Kathryn has worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, utilizing her extensive knowledge of the DSM IV and V. She has a particular focus on working with individuals who have or have had substance abuse issues and has worked in dual diagnosis centers, where clients have both a substance abuse problem and a mental illness. Kathryn is dedicated to continually expanding her knowledge and staying up-to-date with the latest counseling techniques and mental health research. She is passionate about seeing improvement, empowerment, support, and progress in both her clients and herself. As a believer in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, Kathryn is open to incorporating Biblical principles into her counseling practice when requested.
